Yesterday I went to St Andrews.
I prayed in the Catholic church as I used to do when I lived there.
In the empty church, the sun was silently coming through the stained glass.
Someone had lit a candle in front of the St Mary statue.
I like the warmth of the lit candles in the church.
Yesterday also I could feel the warmth of the candle light.
There is another small entrance door in the church building called 'holy door', through which a small garden is unfolded.
Since the church perched on a cliff along the sea, from the garden I can look over the beach
It was so sunny yesterday that I decided to walk for a while along the beach.
The cloud intermittently changed the shade of the beach from bright to gray and from gray to bright.
It was a warmth that I realised I'd wanted to feel on the beach.
I haven't felt it for a while since I moved to Edinburgh.
Although there were some sunny days in Edinburgh, it was a different kind of warmth that I felt there.
I liked and enjoyed the blue warmth of the sunny beach in St Andrews.
I felt peaceful after a long time since this Summer.
I was grateful for all I was given ... the sun, the air, the sea and the peaceful time.
